Subject: Conditional Use Permit for rental operation
J. D. Lindstrom has applied for a conditional use permit to operate a rental service at
404 Mainstreet. The Zoning Ordinance requires a conditional use permit with the
following conditions:
o the lot is graded and surfaced according to a plan submitted and
approved by the city engineer;
o the lighting shall be accomplished in such a way as to have no
direct source visible from the public right -of -way or adjacent land in
the R district;
o the front yard shall be landscaped and not Tess than ten feet in
depth;
o the exterior storage area shall be according to a plan submitted
and approved;
o the site shall provide off street loading facilities to accommodate
customers.
Mr. Lindstrom has not submitted a site plan addressing the above issues. Because a
site plan has not been submitted the staff can not review the applicant's compliance
with the above conditions. Staff is recommending the item is continued until the
October meeting.
