Resolution NO:RZ93-27 4111 CITY OF HOPKINS Hennepin County, Minnesota RESOLUTION NO: RZ93 -27 RESOLUTION MAKING FINDINGS OF FACT AND RECOMMENDING DENIAL OF SIDE YARD VARIANCE AT 150 19TH AVENUE NORTH WHEREAS, an application for a variance, VN93 -8, made by Michael Barnes to allow him a driveway on the lot line of his property at 150 19th Avenue North. WHEREAS, the procedural history of the application is as follows: 1. That an application for a variance, VN93 -8, was filed with the City of Hopkins on November 30, 1993. 2. That the Hopkins Planning Commission, pursuant to mailed notices, held a meeting on the application and reviewed such application on December 28, 1993: all persons present were given an opportunity to be heard. 3. That the written comments and analysis of the City staff and the Planning Commission were considered. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the application for variance VN93 -8 is hereby recommended for denial based on the following Findings of Fact: 1. That the hardship to the property was created by the applicant. 2. That the applicant has reasonable use of the property without the granting of the variance.
