RESOLUTION NO: RZ96 -6
RESOLUTION MAKING FINDINGS OF FACT AND RECOMMENDING
APPROVAL OF A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT TO ERECT
SIGNS AT CHAPEL VIEW CARE CENTER AND APARTMENTS
WHEREAS, an application for Conditional Use Permit CUP96 -2 has been made by Chapel View;
WHEREAS, the procedural history of the application is as follows:
1. That an application for a conditional use permit, was made by Chapel View on March 18,
1996;
2. That the Hopkins Zoning and Planning Commission, pursuant to mailed and published
notice, held a public hearing on the application and reviewed such application on April 30,
1996: all persons present were given an opportunity to be heard;
3. That the written comments and analysis of City staff were considered; and
III 4. A legal description of the subject property is as follows:
Commencing at the intersection of the northerly line of Minnetonka Mills Road and center
line of Gethsemane Road thence northerly along said center line to the north line of
southwest 1/4 of northeast 1/4 thence east to a point 164 feet west from the northeast
corner thereof thence south 179.78 feet thence west 84 feet thence south to northerly line
of Minnetonka Mills Road thence northwesterly to beginning except road.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the application for Conditional Use Permit
CUP96 -2 is hereby recommended for approval based on the following Findings of Fact:
1. The proposed signs meet the requirements of a conditional use permit.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that application for Conditional Use Permit CUP96 -2 is hereby
recommended for approval based on the following conditions:
1. That the proposed signs have a 25 foot minimum setback.
