RESOLUTION NO: RZ98 -19
RESOLUTION MAKING FINDINGS OF FACT AND
RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF A HEIGHT VARIANCE
WHEREAS, an application for a Variance VN98 -5 has been made by Christopher Rohr;
WHEREAS, the procedural history of the application is as follows:
1. That an application for a height variance was made by Christopher Rohr on
August 6, 1998;
2. That the Hopkins Zoning and Planning Commission, pursuant to mailed notice,
held a meeting on the application and reviewed such application on August 25,
1998: all persons present were given an opportunity to be heard;
3. That the written comments and analysis of City staff were considered; and
4. The legal description of the property is as follows:
Lot 9, Block 98, West Minneapolis Second Division
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the application for Variance VN98 -5 is hereby
recommended for approval based on the following Findings of Fact:
1. That the permit on the site stated the permit was for a new garage.
2. The City inspector wrote "ok to proceed
3. The City inspector had the applicant make changes to the garage to meet building
code.
4. That the height problem was discovered after the building code changes was made
to the garage.
