Memo2To: Zoning and Planning Commission From: Nancy Anderson Subject: Moratorium on Subdivisions CITY OF HOPKINS The following resolution is to place a moratorium on subdivisions in R -1 -D Districts. The Bellgrove Improvement Association has asked the Commission to consider a zoning change for larger lots. This moratorium would provide time for the staff to research the feasibility of changing the minimum lot size in R -1 -D Districts. The procedure for the Commission if it decides to recommend approval of the moratorium is to recommend to the City Council adoption of the attached resolution.' NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Hopkins, Minnesota, Effective immediately, a moratorium shall be placed upon the approval of all subdivisions within eeAgr ov e. This moratorium shall be for the purposes of zoning review, and shall expire upon the enactment or denial of a zoning amendment concerning this matter, or upon-Kay-6,-4987, whichever shall come first. This moratorium shall not affect subdivisions in other districts.
