PURPOSE: The purpose of this report is to review and
recommend action on a Conditional Use Permit to allow
day care.
BACKGROUND:

Address of Property: 57 Renaissance Court
Present Zoning: R -3
Nature of Request: Ordinance requires a
Conditional Use Permit for 6 -11 children
in a day care.
Reason for Request: To allow day care of 6 -11

The applicant currently has day care in her home,

and 'R -6' Districts, day care for more than five and
less than eleven children is allowed provided such

The applicant lives within a townhouse development
which does not allow a great amount of room for the
children to play, however, there is a common play area
for the children of the development adjacent to the
applicants home.
The applicant has contacted the manager of the
townhouses and received written approval which is
enclosed.
