Dear Sir:
This is a follow -up of our recent conversation concerning the sale of
automobiles at my place of business at 1218 Excelsior Avenue West. As
stated to you, I would not become involved with a number of cars like
a normal used sales lot. I would promise, and state in writing, that
there would never be more than six cars parked on the premises, and
the approval could be revoked if violated. Most of the time, there
would be less than that. My present business, which is the repair of
small engines such as lawn mowers and locksmith work including key
making, would be retained at the same location.
Enclosed you will find a sketch of the building and grounds in which
we occupy.
You stated you would contact the commission members to sound them out
as to whether they would possibly approve it or not. Please keep me
advised, and I will follow all procedures to get the formal approval
for the sale of cars at the stated address.
Sincerely,
Frank D. McLeod
