Walser Leasing has requested an easement from the City of Hopkins to place a directional sign in the right -of -way at 317 Mainstreet. This sign was approved for a maximum size of 6'8" x 5'4 ". and a setback of 1 foot. The proposed lettering will be "WALSER AUTO LEASING AND USED CAR SALES ". Another sign that is 35 feet in height is located at the east side of the site. Dear Mr. Rapp, On behalf of Walser Leasing, Inc. I hereby request permission from the City of Hopkins to relocate a directional sign on our property at 317 Mainstreet as follows: Our proposed location would rest on Hopkins City property. As originally approved, the sign is set back too far from Main - street to be visible and therefore serve its intended purpose. In order to properly identify our business to our customers, moving the sign to the proposed location would be necessary. We appreciate your consideration of our proposal. This sign has not yet been constructed. It was approved for the dimensions 6'8" wide and 5'4" high. The sign was also approved to be lighted.
