Variance-Rearyard SetbackI 16 January 25, 1984 Case No: 84 -01 Applicant: City of Hopkins Location: 1010 First Street South Request: Variance for rear yard setback STAFF FINDINGS & COMMENTS: Norris 1. Applicant is requesting a ten foot variance for the rear yard setback in order to construct a two -story parking ramp on the west side of City Hall. Property is in a B -2 District. 2. Ordinance 427.35 requires a rear yard of ten feet; proposed ramp would be constructed to the property line. 3. Ordinance 427.23(3) states that variances shall be issued in cases where strict enforcement of the zoning ordinance would cause undue hardship because of circumstances unique to the subject property.
