Public Hearing Industrial Development of Roanoke, Virginiaat The City Hall CITY OF HOPKINS HENNEPIN COUNTY, MINNESOTA RESOLUTION NO. 84 -3171 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF HOPKINS, MINNESOTA APPROVING THE PLAN OF FINANCING OF THE INDUSTRIAL .DEVE.L_01?M- ENT_._A_I1TEDRrTY OLF-_rn orTv NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT BOND FINANCING BY THE INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF ROANOKE, VIRGINIA Notice is hereby given that the City of Hopkins will hold a public hearing on the following application and plan of financing: Virginia Plastics Company, Inc., a Virginia corporation, whose principal place of business is 3423 Aerial Way Drive, Roanoke, Virginia has requested the Industrial Development Authority of the City of Roanoke, Virginia (the "Authority ") to issue its bonds in an amount not to exceed $750,000 in order to finance the acquisition and installation of equipment for the manufacture of electronic harnesses, wire, cable, and custom molded plastic goods. The equipment or parts thereof are proposed to be located at 3423 Aerial Way Drive in the City of Roanoke, Virginia, 1202 South Fifth Street, Hopkins, Minnesota, 8109 Lewis Road, Minneapolis, Minnesota and 9553 Foley Boulevard, Coon Rapids, Minnesota. The initial owner, operator or manager of the equipment (the "Facilities ") will be Virginia Plastics Company, Inc., a Virginia corporation. The approval of the issuance of the Bond, as required by Section 103 (k) of the Code, does not constitute and endorsement to a prospective purchaser of the Bond of the creditworthiness of the Facilities or the Company, and the City shall not be obligated to pay the Bond or the interest thereon, or any other costs incident thereto and neither the faith, credit, nor the taxing power of the State of Minnesota or the City shall be pledged thereto. 4. The actions of the City Manager in causing published notice of the public hearing to be made describing the general nature of the Project and the estimated principal amount of the revenue bonds to be issued to finance the Project are in all respects ratified and confirmed. 5. MILLER CITY OF HOPKINS HENNEPIN COUNTY, MINNESOTA ORDINANCE NO. 84 -540 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING OFFICIAL MAP OF THE CITY OF HOPKINS WHEREAS, The City of Hopkins has adopted Ordinance 73 -375 which relates to official maps and the effect thereof and establishing procedures in connection therewith and including location, preparation and approval of such maps and appeals thereunder. WHEREAS, the city of Hopkins has adopted an official map labeled the 1972 Official Map of the City of Hopkins, Ordinance 72 -369 in accordance with Minn. Statute 462.351 - 462.364. WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on November 8, 1984 to consider an amendment of the map. NOW, THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED that the following land as describe( below be included on the Official Map. that portion of the Burlington Northern Railroad right -of -way lying north of Second Street N. E. and south of northerly city boundary line.
