MinutesAll special meeting of the City Council of the City of Hopkins, Minnesota
was held on Saturday, December 22, 1984 at 9 a.m. in the Council Chambers
of the City Hall.
Present were Mayor Miller, Councilmembers, Anderson and Shirley. Absent
were Mr. Milbert and Mrs. Lavin. Also present was City Manager, Craig.

Resolution No 84 -3175 " A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL IN
AND FOR THE CITY OF HOPKINS, MINNESOTA ( "city ") AUTHORIZING
THE ISSUANCE, SALE AND DELIVERY OF THE $300,000 COMMERCIAL
DEVELOPMENT REVENUE NOTE (MICHAEL J. BRIGGS PROJECT),
( "NOTE "), (MICHAEL J. BRIGGS PROJECT), ( "NOTE "), WHICH NOTE
AND THE INTEREST AND ANY PREMIUM THEREON SHALL BE PAYABLE
SOLELY FROM THE REVENUES DERIVED FROM THE LOAN AGREEMENT:
APPROVING THE FORM OF AND AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION AND
DELIVERY OF A'DISBURSING AGREEMENT, A LOAN AGREEMENT, AND
AN ASSIGNMENT OF LOAN AGREEMENT APPROVING THE FORM OF A
COMBINATION MORTGAGE, SECURITY AGREEMENT, FIXTURE FINANCING
STATEMENT: APPROVING THE FORM OF AND AUTHORIZING THE
EXECUTION AND DELIVERY OF THE NOTE: AND PROVIDING FOR THE
SECURITIES, RIGHTS AND REMEDIES OF THE HOLDER OF SAID
NOTE."
Mr. Anderson moved and Mr. Shirley seconded the motion
adopting Resolution No. 84 -3175. A poll of the vote was as
follows: Mr. Shirley, Aye; Mr. Anderson, Aye; Mayor
Miller, Aye. The motion carried unanimously.
The Council agreed to direct the City Attorney to seek a
ruling from the State Attorney General's Office regarding
recent issued brought up by newspaper articles.
Mr. Shirley moved and Mr. Anderson seconded the motion
to adjourn the meeting at 9:30 a.m. The motion carried
unanimously.
