Memo - Second Reading of Ordinance 10-10240 MEMO
To: City Council
From: Nancy Anderson
Date: July 14, 2010
Subject: Second Reading for Ordinance 10-1024
Attached is Ordinance 10-1024 for second reading. This ordinance will rezone 7630
Excelsior Boulevard from 1-2 to Business Park.
Staff discussed the setback issue on the east side of the property with the City Attorney,
and following his counsel, Hopkins would use the Business Park setback. The site is
one parcel, with the east 30 feet located in St. Louis Park. The east side setback would
be measured from the east side property line in St. Louis Park. The Hopkins Business
Park setback is 20 feet, and St. Louis Park's setback is 12 feet. Any redevelopment of
• this site would require working with the staff of St. Louis Park.
The City Council's action is to approve the ordinance for second reading and order it
published.
