UP1�, since its small beginnings in 1990, Empty Bowls has become an
international grassroots project to raise funds for local food shelves; and
?ri%4eW44, in the last twelve years of Empty Bowls, a total of $522,279 has
been raised; and
ZkWW, the goal this year is to raise $60,000 for the emergency funds of the
Intercongregation Communities Association (ICA Food Shelf) and ResourceWest
(formerly Hopkins/Minnetonka Family Resource Center; and
?VOk=44, Empty Bowls is hosting the 13th annual event, inviting everyone to
come to the Hopkins Center for the Arts on Tuesday, March 15, 2011 to choose a
• bowl from among 1000 bowls created by local artists and students, eat your
choice of soup and bread donated by our businesses, enjoy local
entertainment, and made a generous free will donation.

in the City of Hopkins, and also encourages all citizens to participate in the
activities associated with Empty Bowls Day.
