7i 4W.,,>rd, the City of Hopkins is partnering with Hennepin County and 22 other
Hennepin County cities to participate in the 2011 Step -to -it -Challenge physical
activity competition from May 9 through June 5; and
W46V,U, this friendly and fun competition creates a sense of community spirit
and gets Hennepin County residents and those who work in participating cities
moving after a long winter; and
W4MU, the Hopkins City Council and its residents will be part of the 2011
Step -To -It -Challenge and encourages the city's business owners, residents, and
employees to participate in activities associated with the four-week event; and
7ir%U, the last two years the City of Hopkins Council won "Most Steps
Walked by a City Council" and the City of Hopkins won "Most Active Residents";
and
W4V,", at the end of the 4 -week event participants who complete all four
weeks will have a chance to win a pair of Minnesota Twins tickets.
74ev 4ow, Ve er Redo4wd, that the Hopkins City Council wishes
to keep the trophy and encourages the other 21 Mayors and Council members
to participate in logging the most steps.

proclaim this four-week challenge to be the:

in the City of Hopkins, and also encourages all business owners, residents and
employees to participate in the activities associated with the Step To It
Challenge.
