AT CONCLUSION OF THE REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING
Tuesday, September 6, 2011
Mayor Maxwell called the meeting to order at 9:35 pm. Present were Mayor Maxwell and Council
Members, Halverson, Rowan, and Youakim.
Council member Halverson had questions on Klodt and Blake road updates. She wants the Council
to see the Blake road plan prior to the neighborhood meeting.
Mayor Maxwell gave an update on September 27th and October 1st picnic.
City Manager Morrison reported on the following:
• Meeting with officials from Blake School last Wednesday, August 31st
• Police department $20,000 Grant — Met Life.
• Hopkins in Motion on September 17th — City booth sign-up.
• National League of Cities, sign-up complete.
• Elevator work at Dow Towers is nearly complete.
• All utility work for 2011 street project is complete.
• Process is started to replace City Clerk and Captain.
• Re -Cap 2 weeks of being the City Manager. Everything is going well.
There being no further business, Council Member Youakim moved and Council Member Rowan
seconded the motion to adjourn. The meeting was adjourned at 9:45 p.m.
