AT CONCLUSION OF THE REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING
Tuesday, November 1, 2011
Mayor Maxwell called the meeting to order at 8:55 p.m.
Present at the meeting were:
Mayor Maxwell
City Manager Mike Momson
Bruce Rowan
Cheryl Youakim
Rick Brausen
Kristi Halverson
Council member Rick Brausen stated that 11th Ave and 3 — 302 NW corner - there is concern
about a new driveway. Some hazard is sticking out. He would like a follow-up as to what is
happening in this area. City Manager Morrison will investigate what is going on and will report
back to Council member Brausen.
Council member Rowan stated that there is a black Toyota facing south on Monroe. He stated
that it looks like an abandoned vehicle. City Manager Momson will check inquire about it and
get back to him.
Council member Youakim stated that the watershed project should be part of the Citizen's
Academy.
Council member Youakim stated that charitable gambling could have possible changes.
City Manager Momson provided the following update:
• November 9th is the neighborhood meeting for next year's street project.
• City Manager Momson stated that he received favorable comments from residents on
current street project.
• Planning staff received grant thru Active Living for new bike racks.
• Staff raised $1500 in the auction for Resource West.
There being no further business Council member Brausen moved and Mayor Maxwell seconded
a motion to adjourn. The meeting was adjourned by unanimous consent at 9:15 p.m.
