Proclamation Step to it Challenge � � �� � •

��tQ7�d, the City of Hopkins is partnering with Hennepin County and 17 other
Hennepin County suburbs to participate in the 2010 Step-to-it-Challenge physical
activity competition from May 17 through June 13; and
�i�f�;�tt�, this friendly and fun competition creates a sense of community spirif and
gets Hennepin County residents and those who work in participating cities moving after
a long winter; and
'��;�ttP.�, the Hopkins City Council and its residents will be part of the 2010 Step-To-
It-Challenge and encourages the city's business owners, residents, and employees to
participate in activities associated with this four-week event; and
�CtPJt�d, the Council took first place last year and challenges the 17 other cities this
year to accumulate the most points in a 4-week, Step-To-It Program; and
��i�fi�d, at the end of the event a pair of Minnesota Twins tickets will be given out
to five participants who complete all four weeks; and

���n�, �e [:� ���o�� that the Hopkins City Council wishes to keep the
trophy and encourages the other 17 City Councils to participate in logging the most
steps.

four-week challenge to be the:

In the City of Hopkins, and does also encourage all business owners, residents and
employees to participate in the activities associated with the Step-To-It-Challenge.
