AT CONCLUSION OF THE REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING
Tuesday, April 3, 2012
Mayor Maxwell called the meeting to order at 9:10 P.M.
Present at the meeting were:
Mayor Maxwell City Manager Mike Mornson
Council Member Jason Gadd Council Member Cheryl Youakim
Council Member Kristi Halverson Council Member Molly Cummings
Council member Jason Gadd suggested next year for the 2013 Citizens Academy that we have
sample shirt sizes so people know what to order.
Council member Jason Gadd stated that he was contacted by Brian Nash of Pawn Baby.
Council member Molly Cummings inquired about the Neighborhood Association contact list.
City Manager Mornson will follow-up on that.
Council member Cheryl Youakim stated that the SWLRT committee cancelled the April
meeting.
City Manager Mike Mornson stated that he and Police Chief Mike Reynolds had a meeting with
the pawn shop owner on Monday.
City Manager Mike Mornson stated operation recesses a new program by the Hopkins Police
Department as of result of the Met Life grant.
City Manager Mike Mornson stated that the Engaging Raspberry Renters program will start
April 19th with the kick-off program.
City Manager Mike Mornson stated that the Step to it Challenge dates are April 23 to May 20tH
City Manager Mike Mornson stated Klodt will be on the agenda on May 1 and require `a public
hearing.
City Manager Mike Mornson stated the audit is well under way and should be wrapping up
around the end of May with a presentation in June.
City Manager Mike Mornson stated that the business forum could be in September and will need
Feedback from council. Time frame will be 4:00pm to 5:30pm.
There being no further business Council member Youakim moved and Council Member Gadd
seconded a motion to adjourn. The meeting was adjourned by unanimous consent at 9:40 p.m.
