MINUTES OF THE CITY COUNCIL WORK SESSION
� AT CONCLUSION OF THE REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING
Tuesday, June 19, 2007
Mayor Maxwell called the meeting to order at 8:35 pm. Present were Mayor Maxwell and Council
members Halverson, Thompson, Rowan and Youakim. City personnel present were City Manager Rick
Getschow, Public Works Director Ste�e Stadler, City Engineer John Bradford and City Attorney Jerry
Steiner.
Pending Litigation
• Motion by Youakim seconded by Halverson for City Council to enter into a closed session to discuss
pending litigation against the city related to the property on 21 Avenue North. City Council discussed
pending litigation with a property owner on 21 Avenue North against the city as it is related to the city's
right-of-way.
• Motion by Halverson, seconded by Youakim for Council to move back into an open session at 9:40pm.
Lot Sales
• Council Member Rowan asked about the minimum that the city may set for lot sales. Consensus was to
place a potential minimum at a dollar figure whereby the city would consider selling. $70,000 may be too
small of a minimum.
ICA
�• City Manager Getschow confirmed to the Council that the city will donate $5,000 towards ICA as was
done in 2006 and that the groundbreaking for the new ICA facility is on Monday, June 25 at the new
headquarters.
, July 31S` Work Session
• Council consensus was to cancel the July 31S` Council Work Session as it is the 5`� Tuesday of the
. month.
There being no further business, a motion was made by Maxwell, seconded by Rowan to adjourn the
meeting. The motion passed unanimously. The meeting was adjourned at 9:52 pm.
