AT CONCLUSION OF THE REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING
Monday, May 1, 2012
Mayor Maxwell called the meeting to order at 8:14 P.M.
Present at the meeting were:
Council member Kristi Halverson inquired about the purchase of the Jack Yee's building. Staff
will look into this.
City Manager Mike Mornson stated the Raspberry Renter program started April 19th and the next
event will be May 241H
City Manager Mike Mornson stated the RFP for Cottageville Park consultants will be underway
in the next month.
City Manager Mike Mornson stated that Steve Stadler did a great job with the Hennepin County
grant for rugby.
City Manager Mike Mornson stated that he and Kersten met with Congressman Ellison staff as
well as Twin West chamber president. He stated that we are planning on providing a tour for the
congressman in August.
City Manager Mike Mornson stated that Hennepin County will consider adding Hopkins to their
dispatch at their May 15th or May 22nd board meeting.
City Manager Mike Mornson stated that on June 5th at 6:15 pm there will be a Nine Mile Creek
update and an Eagle Scout presentation at the Kiosk that the Eagle Scout helped out with.
City Manager Mike Mornson stated that the open agenda maybe changed due to web streaming.
City Manager Mike Mornson stated that Mainstreet Days will be May 19th
City Manager Mike Mornson stated that there was a discussion on the July meeting schedule and
it was decided to add a July 24th Work Session.

There being no further business Council member Halverson moved and Council Member
Cummings seconded a motion to adjourn. The meeting was adjourned by unanimous consent at
8:45 p.m.
