March 7,1978 CC A regular meeting of the Council of th- City of Hopkins, Minnesota, was
held on Tuesday, March 7, 1978, at 7:30 p.m., in the Council Chambers in
the City Hall.

Present were Mayor Miller, Councilmen IcDonald, Milbert and Lohmann, also
City Manager Craig, City Clerk Richar.sor, City Engineer, Strojan, Asst.
Engineer Anderson, Operations Directo Beecher, Building Inspector Kohnen.
Absent: Councilman Slaton and City Attorney Vesely.

Mr. Milbert moved to ame d the motion to read 7 consecutive

of a second.

and approve the proptsed concept for the construction of a
30 unit apartment bu ldLng in conjunction with a one story
commercial building .t the corner of 10th Avenue and First
Street South, as req 'ested by Mr. Don Hagen and that Mir.
Hagen appear at the iext meeting of the Park Board to explain
this concept to them and to receive any input from the Park
Board re: this plan. A poll of the vote was as follows: Mr.

Council expressing our Council's concern re: the Green Hills
Proposal on high dens_ty change to their Comprehensive Plan.
