RESOLUTION NO. 78 -2.85
RESOLUTION ORDERING IMPROVE IN AND
PREPARATION OF PLANS
WHEREAS, pursuant to Resoluti.n ko. 78 -2684 of the Council adopted
May 16th, 1978, a report has been prep :real; by John Strojan, City Engineer,
with reference to the improvement on B aka Road and Ashley Road abutting
House No. 33 Blake Road South and 101 :la e Road South by the extension
of concrete curb and gutter thereon, a d his report was received by the
Council on May 16, 1978 showing a tota cost of $693.45.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVE, BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
HOPKINS:
1. Such improvement is hereb ordered as proposed in the report
prepared by John Strojan, City Enginee .
2. That John Strojan, City E gi eer, is hereby designated as
the engineer for this improvement and e •:hall prepare plans and specifi-
cations for the making of such improve en'.
Adopted by the City Council o t e City of Hopkins, Minnesota,
this 16th day of May, 1978.

The Council of the City of Hopkins, Minnesota, sat as the Board of
Review on Tuesday May 9, 1978 and continued the meeting to Tuesday,
May 23, 1978 at 7:30 p.m., in the Council Chambers in the City Hall.
Present were Mayor Miller, Councilmen Milbert, Slaton and Lohmann, also
City Assessor Richardson, City Appraiser Renne and Roy Johnson from
Hennepin County. Absent: Councilman MCDonald absent at both meetings.
Mayor Miller was absent from the May 23rd. meeting.
After considerable discussion the following motion was made by Council:
That the Assessor's values would be upheld and the petitioners to be
notified of the County Board meeting.
Action: Mr. Milbert moved, and Mr. Lohmann seconded the motion, that
the meeting be adjourned. A poll of the vote was as follows: Mr.
Milbert, yea; Dr. Slaton, yea; Mr. Lohmann, yea;and Mayor Miller, yea.
Motion carried unanimously.
