A RESOLUTION RECEIVING REPORT AND;
FOR HEARING ON IMPRO :MENTS
WHEREAS, -
EREAS pursuant to Resolutio N. 78 2666 of
p �¢ the Council adopted
March 7, 1978, a report has been prepared b, Jahn Strojan, City Engineer, with
reference to Fifteenth Avenue South from Fi'th Street South to a point approxi-
mately 750 feet south by the installation .2 wtermain, sanitary sewer, storm
sewer, curb and gutter, driveways and street donstruction thereon and this
report was received by the Council on June 6th, 1978.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF HOPKINS,
• MINNESOTA, as follows:
1. The Council will conside thie improvement of such street in
accordance with the report and the assess ent,' of the following described
properties: (Parcel 800) Northwest Quarte (IW1/4) of Southwest Quarter (SW1)
North of railroad lands; (Parcel 1010) That part of the east 198 feet of the
west 1039.5 feet of the south 1/2 of the •outhwest Quarter (SW1) of the North
west Quarter (NW') as measured along the -ou.h line thereof lying northwesterly
of railroad right -of -way; (Parcel 5226) 1 at part of the north 150 feet of the
south 1/2 of the Southwest Quarter (SW1) of ;the Northwest Quarter (NW') of Section
25, Township 117, Range 22, which lies w:stoirly of the southerly extension of the
west line of Block 2, L. P. Creviers Fir.t Addition to West Minneapolis and which
• lies easterly of a line beginning at the intersection of the north line of said
north 150 feet with the southerly exten ion! of the east line of Block 3 in said
addition, thence south 8 degrees 42 min tesj 10 seconds west to the south line of
said north 150 feet and there ending fo; the purposes of this description, the
west line of said south 1/2 is assumed o leave a bearing of south: (Parcel 5230)
That part of the west 841.5 feet of the soiith 1/2 of the Southwest Quarter (SW1)

cost of the improvement of $19,958.00 for wa+ermain; $41,718.00 for sanitary
sewer; $11,266.00 for storm sewer; $11,13!.09 for concrete curb, gutters and
driveways; $17,954.00 for street construc ion,.
2. A public hearing shall •= bold on such proposed improvements
on the 18th day of July, 1978 in the Co cif Chambers of the City Hall at 7:30
o'clock P.M., and the Clerk shall give p .lashed notice of such hearing and
improvement as required by law.
Adopted by the Council of t e,pity of Hopkins, Minnesota, this 6th
