06-19-2012 WSMINUTES OF THE CITY COUNCIL WORK SESSION
AT CONCLUSION OF THE REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING
Tuesday, June 19, 2012
Mayor Maxwell called the meeting to order at 10:10 p.m.
Present at the meeting were:
Mayor Maxwell City Manager Mike Mornson
Council Member Jason Gadd Council Member Cheryl Youakim
Council Member Kristi Halverson Council Member Molly Cummings
Council member Gadd updated the Council on the Yellow Ribbon Committee.
Council member Youakim state she went on the Southwest light rail tour with Council member
Cummings.
Council member Cummings stated the Community Day of Service re -cap numbers were down,
they may re -organize it. She also stated she attended the Interlacken meeting.
Council member Halverson discussed the dunk tank and the Park Commission Vacancies.
City Manager provided the following updates;
1. Planning under way for business forum.
2. Renter engagement activity on bike safety June 21.
3. Will be at the League of cities conference June 20 to 22.
4. Will be on vacation July 2 to 6.
5. The National league conference is November 28 to December 2.
6. Update on the dispatch services being transferred to the county.
There being no further business Council member Gadd moved and Council Member Halverson
seconded a motion to adjourn. The meeting was adjourned by unanimous consent at 10:30 p.m.
