AT CONCLUSION OF THE REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING
Tuesday, July 17, 2012
Mayor Maxwell called the meeting to order at 8:25 P.M.
Present at the meeting were:

x Council Member Kristi Halverson x Council Member Molly Cummings
Council member Youakim said thanks to Debbie for running the City Booth.
Council member Youakim inquired about who is doing the prosecuting for the city on LMC
committee. City Manager Morrison stated that Wynn Curtis will be fulfilling that position. She
also mentioned the committee she is on is with LMC.
Council member Halverson stated that it was a really good weekend for the Raspberry Festival.
Council member Halverson talked about meeting with the Mayor and the Elks members.
Mayor Maxwell discussed National Night Out.
City Manager Mornson stated that the budget Work Session is next Tuesday, July 24`n
City Manager Morrison stated that Dispatch will be done by Hennepin County starting August
21", 2012.
City Manager Morrison stated that the first two meetings in August are on Mondays instead of
Tuesdays. They will be Monday, August 6`" and Monday, August 131"
City Manager Morrison stated that he and Council members Gadd and Cummings toured Klodt
property today.
City Manager Morrison gave an update on Day Care user on Blake Road.
City Manager Mornson stated that there is a summer carnival next week at Burnes Park which is
located at 301 -2nd Street North in Hopkins. He stated that there were 429 that attended and the
kids were in the program.
City Manager Morrison reviewed with the Council the Business Forum post cards. It will be
held on September 27`n from 4:00pm to 6:00 pm.
City Manager Morrison handed out several items that are coming up at the Hopkins Art Center.
City Manager Morrison commented on all the great work that staff does during the Raspberry
Festival.
There being no further business Council member Cummings moved and Council Member Gadd
seconded a motion to adjourn. The meeting was adjourned by unanimous consent at 8:45 p.m.
