SUBJECT: 2012 Hopkins Community Image Awards (HCIA)
Each year the City of Hopkins recognizes certain properties for their contribution toward the
image of the community. Nominations were sought from the public through August, and a
review committee voted to determine which nominated properties would receive an award. The
review committee members were Jane Ale, Pam Hove, Marlene Hunkins, Aaron Kuznia, and
Peter Sholtz.
Nominations are grouped in three categories (Commercial/Industrial/Office, Multi -Family
Residential, and Single -Family Residential), and each property that receives at least four of the
five review committee votes is awarded. There is no limit to the number of awards that can be
selected, but winners from the last 10 years are not considered.
