CR 2013-058 Adopt Pedestrian and Bicycle PlanCity of Hopkins June 4, 2013 Council Report 2013-058 ADOPT PEDESTRIAN AND BICYCLE PLAN Proposed Action Staff recommends the following motion: "Move that Council adopt Resolution 2013-030, Resolution Adopting Pedestrian and Bicycle Plan." Overview At its April 9, 2013 Work Session, the draft Pedestrian and Bicycle Plan was presented to the City Council. Since that presentation, a more detailed sidewalk plan has been added. The plan was prepared by the Community Design Group and was funded by Hennepin County. A great deal of public input was sought during the development of this plan. Input from community members as well as the Zoning and Planning Commission, Parks Board and the City • Council were taken. Additionally, an Open House for the plan will be held in the City Hall Lobby from 6:00 to 7:30 PM, prior to the Council Meeting. • Antonio Rosell from the Community Design Group will present the plan and answer any questions you may have.
