RESOLUTION NO: 13-60
RESOLUTION MAKING FINDINGS OF FACT AND
APPROVING A SITE PLAN TO CONSTRUCT
A BUILDING AT 108, 116, AND 120 SHADY OAK ROAD
WHEREAS, an application for site plan approval SPR13-2 has been made by Dan
Dorholt;
WHEREAS, the procedural history of the application is as follows:
1. That an application for a site plan approval was made by Dan Dorholt on July
26, 2013;
2. That the Hopkins Zoning and Planning Commission, pursuant to mailed and
published notice, held a public hearing on the application and reviewed such
application on August 27, 2013: all persons present were given an opportunity
to be heard;
3. That the written comments and analysis of City staff were considered; and,
4. A legal description of the subject property is as follows:
Lots 9, 10 and 11, Block 1, Oak Ridge 2nd Addition
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the application for site plan approval
SPR13-2 is hereby approved based on the following Findings of Fact:
1. That the Planning Commission reviewed the proposed redevelopment.
2. That the proposed use meets the requirements for site plan approval.
3. That the proposed use is in compliance with the Comprehensive Plan.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that application for site plan approval SPR13-2 is
hereby approved subject to the following conditions:
1. That the property be rezoned to a PUD overlay district.
2. That a PUD agreement be approved and executed.
3. That the watershed district approves the proposed development.
4. That the site be replatted and approved by Hennepin County
5. That the location of the access to Shady Oak Road is determined by Hennepin
County.
6. That the access from Shady Oak Road is shared with the VFW.
