Mayor Maxwell called the n�eeting to order at 7:20 p.m.
Present at the meeting were:
x Mayor Maxwell x City Manager Milce Mornson
x Council Member Jason Gadd x Council Member Cheryl Youakim
x Council Member Molly Cummings x Council Member Kristi I-Ialverson
x Attorne Kim Kozar x City Attorney Jerry Steiner
x Attorne Scott Landsnlan
Council member Cummings stated she liked the blinking light on 5`�' and Highway 7. She also stated
her CEE Audit was cancelled and that she would like a community connection with the Leag�ue of
Minnesota.
Council member Youakim discussed the SWLRT meeting that is occurring this week.
City Manager Mornson gave the following updates:
• Reviewed the agenda foi• the Jantiaiy 17`�' Goal Setting meeting
• Reviewed the State of the City agenda
• Informed the Council he attended a NORC meeting in St. Louis Park
• Informed the Council the League of Cities Conference is scheduled for June 18`�' through the
20`�' in St. Cloud. There will be two key note speakers this year.
• Informed the Couneil about possible changes to the Citizens Academy that may occur this year.
� Discussed the 2014 and 2015 sheet reconstruction projects and stated that thcrc may be a need
to do reverse referendum bonds to complete the fiinding.
Mr. Steiner inCormed the Council about the law firm, Hoff, Bariy & Kozar, P.A. that he is now a
part of. He inti•oduced attorneys Ms. Kozar and Mr. Landsman.
There being no further business Council member Cummings moved and Council member
Youakim seconded a motion to adjourn. The meeting was adjourned by unanimotrs consent at
8:30 p.m.
