11-29-1994 Charter Commission Regular MeetingMinutes of the Hopkins Charter Commission November 29, 1994 The Hopkins Charter Commission met on November 29. Present were Randy Engel, Paul Ahles, William Arimond, Dorothy Boen, Richard Brubacher, Paul Lund, Sally Morem, Henry Pokorny, Harry Smith, and Warren Woodrich. City Clerk Jim Genellie was also present.. Mr. Engel brought the meeting to order at 7:05 p.m. He thanked Mr. Genellie and the members of the Commission for their efforts. Approval of the Minutes of the Previous Meeting. The Commission approved the minutes of November 15, 1994. Consideration of Communications. There were no communications. Unfinished business. 1) Approval of Resolution 94-2. Commissioner Woodrich moved and Commissioner Brubacher seconded the motion to approve Resolution 94-2 recommending, to the City Council, adoption of Ordinance 94-749. The vote to approve was unanimous. Commissioner Engel asked Mr. Genellie about 1995. Mr. Genellie said that the Commission would have to meet at least once in 1995 but, at this time, he did not anticipate that there would be any further need to amend the Charter. He said that he would like the meeting to take place prior to November when four current members' terms would expire. Mr. Woodrich suggested that the 1995 meeting take place in conjunction with the City's annual boards and commissions banquet. Adjournment. Commission Brubacher moved and Commissioner Arimond seconded the motion to adjourn. The meeting adjourned by unanimous consent.
