SPECIAL MEETING PROCEEDINGS

CALL TO ORDER
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a special meeting of the Hopkins City Council
was held on Monday, May 18, 2026 at 6:05 p.m. in the Involve Room at City Hall, 1010
1st Street South.
Mayor Hanlon called the meeting to order with Council Members Garrido, Goodlund,
and Hunke attending. Council Member Kuznia was absent. Others attending included
City Planner Krzos, Parks Supervisor Brummer, and Program Specialist Baker.
The purpose of the meeting was to interview Board and Commission applicants. Based
on the interviews, the City Council made the following recommendations:
Appoint Jonathan Lyksett to the Planning & Zoning Commission
Appoint Amanda Heiser to the Planning & Zoning Commission
Appoint Parker Johnson to the Park Board
Appoint Robb Stephens to the Park Board
All recommended appointments are for two year terms, with Park Board terms
beginning July 27 and Planning & Zoning terms beginning July 28. New members will
be sworn in on June 2, 2026.
ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business to come before the City Council, the meeting was
unanimously adjourned at 7:35 p.m.
