RESOLUTION 1VIAKING FINDINGS OF FACT AND APPROVING
A SETBACK VARIANCE AT 529-17~ AVENUE NORTH
WHEREAS, an application for Variance VN99-3 has been made by Daryl Peterson;
WHEREAS, the procedural history of the application is as follows:
1. That an application for a setback variance was made by the Daryl Peterson on
Apri123, 1999;
2. That the Hopkins Zoning and Funning Commission, pursuant to mailed notice,
held a meeting on the application and reviewed such application on May 25,
1999: all persons present were given an opportunity to be heard;
3. That the written comments and analysis of City staffwere considered; and
4. The legal description of the property is as follows:
The west 271 feet of that part of the Northwest '/4 of the Northwest '/. of Section
24 Township 117 Range 22, West of the Sa' Principal Meridian described as
follows: Commencing at the northwest corner of said section; thence east along
the north line of said section 331 feet; thence southerly and parallel with the west
line of said section 141.6 feet; thence west and parallel with the north line of said
section to the west Line thereof; thence north along said west line 141.6 feet to
point of beginning
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the application for Variance VN99-3 is hereby
approved based on the following Findings of Fact:
1. That the lot does have a hardship to grant a variance because of the width of
the drive aisle.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that application for Variance VN99-3 is hereby approved
based on the following conditions:
1. That the Fire Marshal review the plans.
