AT CONCLUSION OF THE REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING
Tuesday, October 7, 2014
Mayor Maxwell called the meeting to order at 8:45 p.m.
Present at the meeting were:

x E&D Director - Kersten Elverum x PW Director - Steve Stadler
x City Clerk - Amy Domeier x Community Dev. Coord. - Meg Beekman
Council member Gadd stated that he will not be at the council meeting on December 9, 2014.
City Clerk, Amy Domeier provided an update on changes made to the council packet. We will
now add "Adopt Agenda to Council Packet".
Ms. Beekman provided an update on a mobile application for the city from a company called City
Center.
Ms. Elverum provided an update on the Johnson building project. She also updated on Met
Council funding requests.
Mr. Stadler provided an update on Cottageville Park. He also provided an update on Met Council
Lift Station.
City Manager Mornson update:
• City Manager Mornson stated that the Hennepin County wes� hub service will open on
October 13, 2014.
• City Manager Mornson stated that the employee recognition luncheon wiil be on October 31 St
and the Activity Center starting at 11:30 a.m.
� City Manager Mornson stated that the goal setting retreat is on Friday, January 23ra at the
Oakridge Country Club from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.
• City Manager Mornson mentioned that the November addition of the League of Minnesota
Magazine will have a feature on Hopkins goal setting process.
• City Manager Mornson briefly reviewed the 2015 meeting schedule with the council.
There being no further business Council member Halverson moved and Council member
Cummings seconded a motion to adjourn. The meeting was adjourned by unanimous consent at
10:10 pm.
