RESOLUTION 2015-001
RESOLUTION DECLARING A VACANCY ON THE CITY COUNCIL
WHEREAS, Council Member Cheryl Youakim was elected to a four-year term as a
Council Member of the City of Hopkins on November 5, 2013, and;
WHEREAS, Council Member Cheryl Youakim resigned from that position on
December 31, 2014, and;
WHEREAS, There are more than two years remaining on Council Member Youakim's
term, and;
WHEREAS, Section 2.05 of the Charter of the City of Hopkins provides that the City
Council shall by resolution declare the Council seat vacant,
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, the Council of the City of Hopkins hereby declares
a vacancy on the City Council.
Adopted by the City Council of the City of Hopkins this 6th day of January, 2015.
