ORDINANCE NO. 80-471
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER V, SECTION
500 : 00 AND ADDING SECTION 500 :20 OF THE
CITY OF HOPKINS 1977 CODE OF ORDINANCES
RE: LICENSE FEES AND PENALTIES.
BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Hopkins, as
follows:
Section 1. That Chapter V, Section 500 : 00, of the "1977 Code of
Ordinances for the City of Hopkins" , be and is hereby
amended as to those certain license or permit fees in the
Subdivision numbers hereinafter appearing, as follows :

• . 125 Parking Lots-Public-Permit Per Month $ 6. 00
. 125 (a) Parking Lots-Carpool-Permit Per Month $ 2. 00
. 125 (b) Parking Lots-Perimeter-Permit Per Month $ 2. 00
Animals
. 174 Dogs - For each male dog or spayed dog $ 1. 00
For each unspayed female dog $ 5. 00
For any Kennel, covering all animals kept
during the year $75. 00
(No fee shall be required from any Humane
Society or Veterinary Hospital)
Impounding Charge - 1st offense $10. 00
Daily Boarding Fees $ 3. 00
Transfer Tag $ . 50
Note: Impounding Charge for second & succeeding
offenses shall be number of times
animal has been impounded in calendar
year times $10 . 00
Registration
. 801 Industrial Revenue Bond - per application $750 . 00
IIPSection 2. Section 500 : 20 License Fees Paid Late.
Any and all business and liquor license fees
required by ordinance shall be applied for and
paid prior to the commencement of operations
under said license. If unlicensed operation is
discovered by the City of Hopkins, the license
fee required shall be multiplied by two.
Section 3. That the provisions of this ordinance shall
take effect and be in force from and after
July 1, 1980.
Section 4. That said Section 500 : 00 of said 1977 Code of
Ordinances of the City of Hopkins, except as
herein changed and amended, remains in full
force and effect.
First read at a regular meeting of the Council of the City of Hopkins
held on April 15, 1980 and finally read, approved, adopted, and
ordered published at a regular meeting of said Council of said City on
May 6, 1980
