ORDINANCE NO. 78-452
AN ORDINANCE VACATING THAT PART OF FIRST STREET SOUTH LYING WEST OF THE
EXTENSION ACROSS IT OF THE EAST BOUNDARY LINES OF BLOCKS 23 and 33, WEST
MINNEAPOLIS CENTER, AND THAT PART OF THE NORTH-SOUTH ALLEY ABUTTING UPON
BLOCK 33, WEST MINNEAPOLIS CENTER FROM THE EXTENSION ACROSS IT OF THE
NORTH BOUNDARY LINE OF LOT 1, BLOCK 33, WEST MINNEAPOLIS CENTER TO THE
EXTENSION ACROSS SAID ALLEY OF THE SOUTH LINE OF TRACT C, REGISTERED LAND
SURVEY NO. 1143, EXCEPT EASEMENT
BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Hopkins, as
follows:
That parts of the following described alley and of First Street
• South in Blocks 23 and 33, West Minneapolis Center, be and the same are
hereby vacated:
A. That part of First Street South lying West of the extension
across it of the East boundary lines of Blocks 23 and 33,
West Minneapolis Center, said vacation being subject to an
easement reserved by the City of Hopkins for maintenance,
operation, and repair of public storm sewers over, in, and
under said portion of First Street South;
B. Also that part of the North-South alley abutting upon Block 33,
West Minneapolis Center from the extension across it of the
North boundary line of Lot 1, Block 33, West Minneapolis
Center to the extension across said alley of the South line
of Tract C, Registered Land Survey No. 1143.
First read at a regular meeting of the Council of the City of
Hopkins, held on August 15, 1978, and finally read, approved, adopted
and ordered published at a regular meeting of said Council of said City
on September 5, 1978.
