RESOLUTION NO. 78-2723
A RESOLUTION AGREEING TO PRIOR APPROVAL FROM
HUD IN CONNECTION WITH DEED RECORDED IN THE OFFICE
OF THE HENNEPIN COUNTY RECORDER ON JANUARY 10, 1978,
AS DOCUMENT NO. 4347631
WHEREAS, the City of Hopkins, a municipal corporation under the laws
of the State of Minnesota, has acquired title to certain premises in the City
of Hopkins fully set forth and described in a Warranty Deed dated December 30,
1977, wherein The Minneapolis Floral. Company was the Grantor and said City of
Hopkins was the Grantee, which Deed has been placed of record in the office
of the Hennepin County Recorder at Minneapolis, Minnesota, on January 10,
1978, and recorded as Document No. 4347631, and
WHEREAS, in connection with the acquisition and purchase thereof,
the City of Hopkins has received aid from HUD, a Federal agency.
lk NOW, THEREFORE, it is hereby resolved by the City Council of the
City of Hopkins, that as a further consideration in connection with the above
transaction, the City of Hopkins understands and agrees with HUD that the sale,
lease, or other transfer of land fully described and set forth in the Deed
hereinabove referred to or any interest therein, is subject to a prior approval
of and from the Secretary of HUD, Washington, D.C. , or its successors.
Passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of Hopkins,
Minnesota, at a regular meeting held on the 3rd day of October, 1978.
