RESOLUTION NO. 78-2721
A RESOLUTION APPROVING 1978 TAX LEVY
COLLECTIBLE IN 1979.

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HOPKINS ,
MINNESOTA, that the following sums of money be levied for the current
year collectible in 1979 , upon the taxable property in said City of
Hopkins, for the following purposes:
GENERAL FUND $1 ,556 , 351
DEBT SERVICE FUND 25,250
TOTAL $1 ,581, 601
Provision has been made for payment of the City's contri-
butory share to the Public Employees Retirement Association.
Provision has also been made for the payment of principal
and interest on the following bond issues:
P .I .R. Fund Issue of 4-1-64
P.I.R. Fund Issue of 7-1-72
Water Revenue Bonds of 6-1-67
411 Sanitary Sewer Revenue Bonds of 7-1-70
Redevelopment Bonds of 11-1-77
Water Revenue (E.D.A. ) of 12-20-77
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED,that the City Clerk is hereby ordered
and directed to transmit a certified copy of this resolution to the
County Auditor of Hennepin County, Minnesota.
Passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Hopkins ,
Minnesota at a regular meeting held the 3rd day of October, 1978 .

SUBJECT: "Downtown Park" plan
The Hopkins Park Board has reviewed the Downtown Park preliminary plan
submitted by the architect Ery Malen on September 20, 1978. The Board,
at its September 26 meeting voted to recommend the Mayor and Council
approve this plan.
The Board also recommends establishment of a developmental budget, including
• anticipated sources of funds.
