RESOLUTION NO. 77-2550
RESOLUTION APPROVING THE DIVISION OF LOT 13,
BLOCK 4, INTO THE FOLLOWING PARCELS: NORTH 14
FEET OF LOT 13, BLOCK 4, WEST MINNEAPOLIS, AND
THE SOUTH 36 FEET OF LOT 13, BLOCK 4, WEST
MINNEAPOLIS.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Hopkins, on July 20, 1976,
did approve the vacation of a portion of the North-South alley in
Block 4, West Minneapolis to allow for development in that block; and
WHEREAS, as a result of the vacation of the alley in
Block 4, West Minneapolis, the properties located on said block will have
limited access to said block; and
WHEREAS, the Hopkins Housing & Redevelopment Authority as a result
of the approval of said vacation agreed to provide proper access to
Block 4, West Minneapolis; and
WHEREAS, the Hopkins Housing & Redevelopment Authority has deeded
the North 14 feet of Lot 13, Block 4, West Minneapolis to the City of Hopkins;
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of
Hopkins agrees to accept the deed of the property as specified above to be used
for public purposes.
Passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Hopkins, Minnesota, at a
regular meeting held on Tuesday, the 4th day of January 1977.
