RESOLUTION NO. 77-2570
• RESOLUTION APPROVING THE ACQUISITION OF
CERTAIN PARCELS AS SPECIFIED IN MINN.OSA-121A,
OPEN SPACE CONTRACT.
WHEREAS, the City of Hopkins did make application to the Department
of Housing and Urban Development for acquisition of Open Space in the City
of Hopkins, and
WHEREAS, the City of Hopkins did receive approval of Project No. OSA,
Minn. OSA-121A on March 3, 1976, and April 6, 1976, as amended, from the
Department of Housing and Urban Development to acquire Open Space under Title VII
of the Housing Act of 1961, and
WHEREAS, on September 7, 1976, the City Council approved and established

parcels of land for Park purposes described herein
consistent with the requirement and procedures of the Department of Housing and
Urban Development.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
HOPKINS, MINNESOTA, does hereby designate the City Manager to acquire the follow-
ing parcels as specified in the Minn. OSA-121 Open Space Contract as approved
April 6, 1976, for the fair market value as established on September 7, 1976.
1. Plat 37025, Parcel 7800 and legally described as:
South 4 of the Southeast 4 of the Southeast
Section 25, Township 117, Range 22;
2. Plat 37600, Parcel 9000, Outlot "A", South Meadows
Addition, except that part of Outlot "A" lying
• west of the east line of Lots 5, Block 1, South
Meadows Addition, extended southerly;
3. Plat 37025, Parcel 7600/Section 25; Township 117,
Range 22,
Beginning on East line of Northeast 4 of Southeast
4 at a point 395 12/100 feet, south from Northeast
corner thereof, thence southwesterly at an angle of
92°-31'00, with said east line a distance of 579 8/100
ft. to actual point of beginning thence south parallel
with the east line of said Northeast 4 of Southeast 4
to south line of Northeast 4 of Southeast 4, thence
West to Southwest corner thereof, thence North to South-
west corner of Regular Land Survey 632, then Easterly
to the point of beginning, except South 240 ft. thereof.
4. Plat 37025, Parcel 3200/Section 25; Township 117, Range 22,
West 470 ft. of East 560 ft. of North 4 of the South-
east 4 of the Southeast 4 of Section 25.
