111 A RESOLUTION RECEIVING REPORT AND
CALLING FOR HEARING ON IMPROVEMENTS
WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 77-2573 of the Council adopted
April 19, 1977, a report has been prepared by John Strojan, City Engineer,
with reference the west side of Powell Road from a point 450 feet north of
Excelsior Boulevard to a point 200 feet north by the installation of bituminous
curb and repair of bituminous street surface thereon and this report was
received by the Council on May 3, 1977.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Hopkins, Minnesota,
as follows:
1. The Council will consider the improvement of such street in accordance
with the report and the assessment of (Parcel 5200)That part of the Northwest
Quarter (NW') of Southwest Quarter (SW1) lying west of east 917.3 feet thereof
and north of Excelsior Boulevard, except road, Section 20, Township 117, Range 21
for all or a portion of the cost of the improvement pursuant to M.S.A. , Secs.
429.011 to Secs. 429.111, as amended, at an estimated total cost of the
improvement of $805.00.
2. A publichewing shall be held on such proposed improvement on the
7th day of June, 1977 in the Council Chambers of the City Hall at 7:30 o'clock
P.M. , and the Clerk shall give published notice of such hearing and improvement
as required by law.
Adopted by the Council of the City of Hopkins, Minnesota, this 3rd day
of May, 1977.
