RESOLUTION NO. 77-2582
A RESOLUTION RECEIVING REPORT AND CALLING
FOR HEARING ON IMPROVEMENTS
WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 77-2579 of the Council adopted
May 3rd, 1977, a report has been prepared by John Strojan, City Engineer,
with reference to the improvement of the East-West alley in Block 69, West
Minneapolis Second Division (between 10th and 11th Avenue North of Excelsior Avenue)
by concrete surfacing thereon and this report was received by the Council on
May 17th, 1977.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Hopkins, Minnesota,
as follows:
1. The Council will consider the improvement of such alley in accordance
Swith the report and the assessment of Lots 1 thru 24, inclusive, Block 69, West
Minneapolis Second Division for all or a portion of the cost of the improvement
pursuant to M.S.A. , Secs. 429.011 to Secs. 429.111, as amended, at an estiamted
cost of the improvement of $7,716.50 for concrete surfacing and $1,138.50 for
asphalt repair to meet existing driveways.
2. A public hearing shall be held on such proposed improvement on the
7th day of June, 1977, in the Council Chambers of the City Hall at 7:30 o'clock
P.M. , and the Clerk shall give published notice of such hearing and improvement
as required by law.
Adopted by the Council of the City of Hopkins, Minnesota, this 17th
day of May, 1977.
