RESOLUTION NO. 77-2580
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING ACQUISITION OF CERTAIN LAND
BY CONDEMNATION UNDER THE STATUTES
OF EMINENT DOMAIN M.S.A. CHAPTER 117
WHEREAS, the City of Hopkins has heretofore passed and adopted
Resolution No. 77-2570 and other Resolutions approving the acquisition
of certain parcels of land for open space, public purposes, and
WHEREAS, the City Manager of the City of Hopkins has negotiated
for the purchase of the premises hereinafter described.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF HOPKINS that the City Manager and the City Attorney of the
City of Hopkins are hereby authorized, empowered, and ordered to acquire,
by appropriate Court action in eminent domain pursuant to M.S.A.
Chapter 117 and other related Statutes, the following premises situated
in the City of Hopkins, Minnesota, viz:
• The south one-half of the Southeast Quarter of the Southeast
Quarter of Section 25, Township 117, Range 22. (Plat 37025,
Parcel 7800) .
Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council
of the City of Hopkins held May 17, 1977.
