RESOLUTION NO. 77-2597
A RESOLUTION ORDERING PREPARATION OF
ENGINEERS REPORT ON IMPROVEMENTS
WHEREAS, it is ordered by the City Council that consideration
be given to the acquisition and construction of parking lot on the
north 21 feet of Lot 23 and south 43 5/10 feet of Lot 24, including
adjacent 1/2 of alley vacated, Block 6, West Minneapolis and the assess-
ment of benefitting property for all or a portion of the cost of the
improvement pursuant to M.S.A. , Secs. 429.011 to Secs. 429.111, as
amended.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
. OF HOPKINS, MINNESOTA, that the proposed improvement be referred to
John Strojan, City Engineer, for study and he is instructed to report
with all convenient speed advising the council in a preliminary way
as to whether they should best be made as proposed or in connection with some
other improvement and the estimated cost of the improvements as recommended.
Adopted by the City Council of the City of Hopkins, Minnesota, this
19th day of July, 1977.
