A RESOLUTION RECEIVING REPORT AND CALLING
FOR HEARING ON IMPROVEMENTS
WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 77-2609 of the Council
adopted August 16th, 1977, a report has been prepared by John Strojan,
City Engineer, with reference to the improvement on Fifteenth Avenue
South between Fifth Street and Sixth Street South by the extension
of sanitary sewer and watermain thereon and this report was received
by the Council on September 6, 1977.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of
Hopkins, Minnesota, as follows:
IIP1. THe Council will consider the improvement of such street
in accordance with the report and the assessment of the following
described properties: (Parcel 800) Northwest Quarter (NW's) of Southwest
Quarter (SWk) north of railroad lands; (Parcel 1000) Commencing 3 33/100
chains north of a point 12 3/4 chains east of southwest corner of Northwest
Quarter (NWS) , thence east 3 chains, thence north 6 66/100 chains, thence
west 3 chains, thence south 6 66/100 chains to beginning, except railroad
lands; (Parcel 5225) North 300 feet of west 841 5/10 feet of south one half
of Southwest Quarter (SWC) of Northwest Quarter (NWS) ; (Parcel 5250) That
part of the west 841 5/10 feet of south one half of Southwest Quarter (SW')
1110 of Northwest Quarter (NW') lying northwesterly of railroad right-of-way
and lying south of north 300 feet thereof; all of the above described
properties in SEction 25, Township 117, Range 22; Lots 13 thru 24,
inclusive, Block 2; Lots 1 thru 12, inclusive, Block 3; L. P. Creviers First
Addition to West Minneapolis for all or a portion of the cost of the
improvement pursuant to M.S.A. , Secs. 429.011 to Secs. 429.111, as amended,
at an estimated total cost of the improvement of $19,683.00 for sanitary
sewer and $18,775.00 for watermain.
2. A public hearing shall be held on such proposed improvement
on the 18th day of October, 1977 in the Council Chambers of the City Hall
at 7:30 o'clock P.M. , and the Clerk shall give published notice of such

Adopted by the Council of the City of Hopkins, Minnesota, this
6th day of September, 1977.
