77- 435 411 CITY OF HOPKINS HENNEPIN COUNTY ORDINANCE NUMBER 77-435 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 120:40 OF THE 1977 CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF HOPKINS PERTAINING TO CERTAIN CRIMES AND OFFENSES BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Hopkins as follows : That the first paragraph of Section 120:40 of the 1977 Code of Ordinances be and the same is hereby repealed and there is hereby enacted the following provision which constitutes the first paragraph of Section 120:40. Section 120:40. Offenses, Violations and Penalties. The violation of any ordinance, code or resolution, or any provision or part thereof, or the violation of any regulation duly issued or adopted under or pursuant to any 411 such ordinance, code or resolution, or the violation of any condition or provision constituting a part, condition of or attached to any permit or license for any purpose issued by the City of Hopkins or any other governmental body, or the permitting or doing of any act declared to be unlawful in any ordinance, code, resolution or regulation, or the failure to comply with any term or requirement of any ordinance, code, resolution, regulation, proviso, or condition requiring action or compliance shall be and constitute a crime and upon the conviction thereof be punishable by a fine of not more than $500.00 or by imprisonment for not to exceed 90 days, or both; but in either case the costs of prosecution may be added: provided, however, that if any statute, this or other ordinance, code, resolution, regulation, proviso, or condition specifies that a violation thereof shall constitute a petty mis- demeanor, then upon conviction thereof the penalty shall be a fine of not more than $100.00.
