RESOLUTION NO. 77-2634
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING ACQUISITION BY THE
CITY OF HOPKINS OF CERTAIN LANDS FORFEITED
TO THE STATE OF MINNESOTA FOR NONPAYMENT OF
REAL ESTATE TAXES IN PRIOR YEARS
PURSUANT TO M.S.A. CHAPTER 282
IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Hopkins
that the said City of Hopkins immediately acquire from the State of
Minnesota, pursuant to M.S.A. Chapter 282, the following parcel of land
• situated in Hopkins, Hennepin County, Minnesota, viz:
That part of Lot 18 lying West of a line running South
parallel with the East line of said Lot 18 from a point
in the Northerly line thereof distant 55.4 feet South-
westerly from the Northeast corner of said lot, Auditors
Subdivision No. 363
to be used by the City for public playground, parking, recreation, and
watershed purposes.
Passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Hopkins,
Minnesota, at a regular meeting held on the 18th day of October, 1977.
