ORDINANCE AMENDING THAT PART OF CHAPTER 7, SECTION 700:169.34
OF THE 1977 HOPKINS CODE OF ORDINANCES PERTAINING
TO SNOW REMOVAL PARKING REGULATIONS AND RESTRICTIONS.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Hopkins as follows:
That Section 700:169.34 of the 1977 Hopkins Code of Ordinances
as it pertains to snow removal parking restrictions be and is hereby
amended by adding thereto the following provision to be known as:
Subdivision 34. ADDITIONAL SNOW REMOVAL PARKING REGULATIONS
AND PROHIBITIONS FOR SNOW REMOVAL PURPOSES: No person shall park or
leave standing any vehicle on the West side of the following streets or
avenues on any odd numbered days, and on the East side of said streets
on any even numbered days between the hours of 12 midnight and S:00 P.M. :
Van Buren Avenue South
Jackson Avenue South
7th Avenue North
19th Avenue North
That part of 16th Avenue North located north of 3rd Street North
between November 15 of any year and April 15 of the following year.
It is further hereby ordained that additional streets, avenues
or other Hopkins thoroughfares may be designated and added to the regu-
latory provisions of this Section of this Ordinance by Resolutions duly
adopted by the City Council from time to time, copies of which shall be
on file in the office of the City Clerk for public inspection.
That all of the above thoroughfares, including those which may
be added as hereinabove set forth, shall be posted by the erection of appro-
priate signs consonant with the provisions and regulations of this Section.
• First read at a regular meeting of the Council of the City of
Hopkins held on November 1, 1977, and finally read, approved, adopted and
ordered published at a regular meeting of said Council of said City on
November 15, 1977.
