RESOLUTION NO. 82-3031
A RESOLUTION DECLARING A VACANCY IN THE HOPKINS
CITY COUNCIL AND APPOINTING A SUCCESSOR THERETO
WHEREAS, a vacancy is hereby declared to and does exist in the
City Council of the City of Hopkins by reason of the death of Councilwoman
Eugenia Arimond who died on August 24, 1982, and
WHEREAS, Section 2.05 of the Charter of the City of Hopkins
provides that the City Council shall forthwith appoint an eligible person
to fill such vacancy.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Hopkins, pursuant
to said Section 2.05 of the Hopkins City Charter does hereby fill said
vacancy and appoint
ROBERT J. MCDONALD
11, of 229 Campbell Drive, Hopkins, Minnesota
as the successor in such vacancy.
Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of the City
of Hopkins, Minnesota, held the 19th day of October, 1982.
