RESOLUTION NO. 83-3093
A RESOLUTION ORDERING ABATEMENT OF NUISANCE BY REMOVING
CERTAIN INFECTED ELM AND/OR OAK TREES IN VARIOUS LOCATIONS
IN THE CITY OF HOPKINS.
WHEREAS, pursuant to City of Hopkins Ordinance No. 79-467 and pursuant
to MSA Chapter 18, and pursuant to Chapter 4, Rules and Regulations of the Department
of Agriculture (AGR-101-120) , the forester of the City of Hopkins has found conditions
indicating the presence of Dutch Elm or Oak Wilt infestation exist and have existed
upon the following properties:
1 Webster Place
730 Drillane
WHEREAS, notice of such findings has been given to the owners of
record of the premises; and
• WHEREAS, no part of said infected trees has boon removed or other-
wise treated,
WHEREAS, a hearing was held on the 6th day of September 1983, giving
all property owners a chance to be heard,
NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Hopkins, as follows:
That the City will take action to remove said infected trees and assess
the cost thereof to the owners of record.
Passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Hopkins, Minnesota at
a regular meeting held the 6th day of September 1983.
